What is Personal Leadership?

Personal Leadership, like team leadership, has many definitions. Jordan Jensen defines Personal Leadership as follows:

Technical Definition: Personal Leadership is the effective execution of personal thoughts, speech, and actions to achieve a desired objective.

Translation: Personal Leadership is thinking, saying, and doing the right things to accomplish your goals.

Just as some team leaders are more effective than others; some personal leaders are better than others. Each individual is ultimately the ruler of their own world. Everyone is a personal leader. The question is, how good of a personal leader are you? The degree to which you master personal leadership skills in any area of your life is the degree to which you will find success in that area.
